Connect-a-Stretchy Bands – $30
Connect-a-Stretchy Bands are 6 feet long and each section is great for 2-5 adults or 10 children. Connect-a- Stretchy Bands** will include a storage bag that will fit the total bands ordered. If you would like more than one bag, please let us know in the comments when you order.
The connect-a-stretchy band was created with a Music Together Director that wanted a stretchy band that could be used straight, and also one that would work well with different group sizes. Through this collaboration the connect-a-stretchy band was created! You can use it straight as a walking rope for preschool or groups, in a train songs, parades, etc.
Buckle it together to make a circle and use for circle dances, creative movement, boundary issues, teaching opposites, colors, and so much more! Below will give you and idea of how many you will need for your uses. You can always added sections in the future which makes it nice on the budget.
- 1 (2-5 adults or 8 children)
- 2 connected = Medium Stretchy Band (5-8 adults or 16 children)
- 3 connected = Large Stretchy Band (8-11 adults or 22 children)
- 4 connected = XL Stretchy Band (11-14 adults or 28 children)
Keep connecting them for larger groups or divide up your group around individual circles! Check out this post written on an music games activities suggested by a customer, making apple pie.
The Hub Connector (from $10 – $16) we have created turns your connect-a-bands into an armed octopus, sun, star, or where your imagination leads. You can also connect the bands back into the hub to create flowers or clovers.
In 2018 we created a new creative music movement set. This set featured six connect-a-stretchy bands. Each section is one color of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. You can purchase it with a Hub 12 or the set of primary connect-a-stretchy bands by themselves. Drawstring storage bag included, of course!

Love the versatility & quality of construction of the Connect-A-Bands! We recently used the small + medium ones connected in a circle in our therapeutic yoga group at the JD McCarty Center for Children with Developmental Disabilities. The kids LOVED it! Such a fun whole body way to experience group movement. These will be great to use in my work as a SLP to work on size, actions & spatial concepts. Many of my patients have Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder and learn best when tapping into multiple sensory systems. Thanks for blessing me with these to use with our kids <3

Having buckles to connect multiple lengths together is absolutely brilliant. I had been hesitant about investing in stretchy bands before, because I knew I would need different lengths for the different group sizes I work with (older adults in music therapy). This allows for the flexibility that I’m always looking for as a music therapist. I’ll be buying a couple more of these soon so I can serve bigger groups!

The Connect-a-Stretchy Band is awesome! The versatility having the buckles is fantastic. My music classes love using it in a large circle or on the hub in various arrangements. THANKS!!!
