Wrist Streamers and Jingle Bells Music Therapy Props
I have been having fun revamping some old products and creating some new. In 2000, I started out making hoop streamers with ribbons. My sister requested that I try using chiffon scarf fabric, as she liked how quiet they are and also how they couldn’t flick someone in the eye/face and sting, like the ribbons have the potential to do. She then had the bright idea to put them on a hair scrunchie for individuals that couldn’t grasp the hoop ones. So the scarf wrist streamers were created. We used the rainbow colors on each hoop or scrunchie, and they have been a big hit.
Ribbon and Chiffon Streamer Options
Cristal from Early Start Music requested some ribbon streamers, as she prefers them over the chiffon scarf material. So I decided to offer them again and see if there is a demand for them. I thought I’d try making them the primary colors instead of rainbows. They both have unique qualities in the sound they make as they are moved about and the feelings they evoke. As my daughter said, “The ribbons make me want to jump up and down and get crazy, the others are more calming and flowing.”

Last but not least….JINGLE BELLS.
Introducing jingle bells on a wrist scrunchie! Another great product that can be used in so many ways.
